Lakelander Gravel Grinder is the country’s biggest gravel cycling event.
The event gives the cyclist different route options depending on the cyclist fitness or preferred route.
This was my 3rd year covering the event and I absolutely love it. The atmosphere and buzz before the event alone makes it worth it. Everyone is excited and ready to go..all 800 of them!
I was asked to produce multiple videos and this is one of the promo videos to showcase the event from start to finish.
On the morning of the event the weather was not on our side. It was raining, wet, very windy but we had a job to do and we were ready.
My aim was to show off the emotion and feeling when riding from start to finish. The finish showing the relief and buzz.
